Is Hollywood going Halalywood?

For the last couple of years the women in Hollywood have taken a different approach to their dressing. This was quite evident with the recent Oscars. I have never seen so many women dressed so modestly, so it had me thinking are they copying Muslimah swag? My favourite look for the Oscars without a doubt was Camila Alves, she looked breath taking in this pale pink Gabriela Cadena gown.
Along with Camila Alves, Angelina Jolie looked sophisticated and quite elegant in this gorgeous Elie Saab gown. The 38 year old actress has been spotted quite a few times rocking the long sleeve look to many important events.
Sarah Paulson, another modest and yet amazing gown. She also wore an Elie Saab dress to the Oscars and truly did not disappoint.
Lately anything that has been worn has been quite modest, I know the Oscars were a while ago but I just wanted to make a point at the recent modesty craze. Gowns are long sleeves, floor length with intricate work that would make anybody turn their head. I am in love with designers such as Elie Saab and Michael Costello who truly work the modest look to be quite glamourous. It just goes to show you don't have to reveal your whole body as a woman to look beautiful.
