Van Tingz

Hi Everyone,  Im starting to realize that I only post my fashion blogs up when Im traveling or when there is a special event. I need to be more consistent. So I recently went to Vancouver this past week because we were celebrating my husbands birthday. Also I had a meeting with Melanie Mark the woman I named the burgundy zipper top after (I'll explain that more in a little bit). I've travelled quite a bit but I don't know what it is, Vancouver is still one of my favourite places to be in. There is something so magical about that city...when it doesn't rain lol.  We celebrated my husbands birthday and that day was beautiful and clear skies but I...

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Hey Everyone,  Our next destination was to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I had so many high expectations for this city, it has been one of my dreams to visit it. Kuala Lumpur was so developed and clean it was almost complete opposite of Ho Chi Minh. We stayed by Bukit Bintang, which is where all the hustle and bustle went down. I was surprised it was as modernized as it was. At points I felt like I was in Dubai because there were so many Arabs lol, they even have a street called Arab Street. The food was amazing, we constantly found ourselves going back to the same Lebanese restaurant (so typical) for dinner.  Although it was aesthetically beautiful, I was a...

Ho Chi Minh/Saigon, Vietnam

Hi Everyone,  If you were following me on my Instagram you already know I started my adventure in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam formally know as Saigon. I never took my big Canon camera with me because I just hate hauling it around everywhere, even though it does take great pictures. I really have to force myself to take pictures or else I forget lol. We didn't do A LOT of tourists things because we had other reasons to be there so we stuck to more of the local stuff there.  Ho Chi Minh is such a fascinating place, your brain will be OVER STIMULATED there is no doubt. If it wasn't for my husband I'd still be trying to cross...

Oversized Stripes

Hi Everyone! Every time I say I am going to get back into fashion blogging, I literally do one post and disappear for three months. So what I am trying to say is IM BACK. But I'm sure Ill go back in hiding. I feel like any store you go to lately has clothing geared towards hijabis. The modest baggy look is coming full force. Over the years my look has been heading towards more of a baggy and loose fitting look. Turtlenecks have come back on the scene in such a positive way. Lastly, fishnet stockings have come in but not quite left yet. Initially I was hesitant but the more I thought about it I can't live without...

Farewell Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague

The Netherlands journey of my honeymoon is coming to an end and we are off to our next destination...can you guess where?  We spent the majority of our trip in Amsterdam, it was full of history, art, museums, people, and marijuana haha. One thing that I loved about Amsterdam is the aesthetics of the city. Picture Pinterest, now times that by 10 and you have Amsterdam. It was amazing. Everything is pretty minimalistic, that includes clothing and lifestyle, which was cool to witness. After about 6 days in Amsterdam, we headed to Rotterdam which is about 45 minutes to an hour away. This is completely different than Amsterdam. It was a lot more calm and had a lot less traffic....
