I haven’t posted in a while, well because Ramadan has overtaken my life. I was lucky if I had time to wash my face and brush my teeth (jk I do all of the above...maybe). So to put a decent outfit together was way too much work and it also took too much energy. I am glad that I could get that off my chest. Now I would like to wish all my readers, which totals to about 5  people l-o-l a beautiful Eid Mubarak!

Originally, I was suppose to wear this outfit to my birthday. As most of you know I turned 16...okay plus 10 but whatever who cares. I wasn’t really in the mood to celebrate the day my mother gave birth to her favorite child but a few of my friends insisted that we should go out for dinner. I agreed to this only because I really wanted to wear my new cape blazer. Anyways to make this story even longer, instead of going out for dinner my beautiful friends and family surprised me as I walked into my house. It was themed “ The Real Housewives of Edmonton,” (DON'T JUDGE ME) and I loved every minute of it lol. When I walked in, there were over 20 helium balloons that had messages attached to them by friends, family, co workers, the youth I work with, and the Mayor of St Albert, which I thought was hilarious. So needless to say I didn’t end up wearing it to my birthday.

Since I didn't wear the cape blazer on the celebration of my birth, I decided this would be my Eid outfit. I’ve been looking for a cape blazer everywhere but I couldn't really find one. I finally found one on Nasty Gals website. I NEVER buy anything online because let’s be honest here, I have trust issues with the world wide web and I'm too scared to commit to it. Having said that, I am glad I took that leap of faith and decided to order it because it fit so beautiful. When we first locked eyes a tear or two were shed. I’ve seen many bloggers dress the cape blazer up or down-play it with some cool tennis shoes and a pair of jeans. I decided to go somewhere in the middle. Needless to say I am HASHTAG OBSESSED.
