This jacket is named after Randa Abdel-Fattah. Randa is of Palestinian and Egyptian heritage. She has obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Law at the University of Melbourne and has also completed her PhD in Islamaphobia. Randa is also known as a multi award winning author of 11 books and is also at the forefronts when talking about social issues and injustices especially pertaining to Palestine and Islam. She also teaches at the Macquarie University in Sydney Australia.
Aside from her amazing accomplishments, the world fell in love with her all over again. She was on a panel discussing the genocide and illegal occupation of Palestine. She eloquently dismantled a woman's talking point about her sons dog in Israel being scared of the bombs versus the Palestinian families that are being obliterated. We were literally in awe by her response and have been her biggest fan since.
